This country needs major political, economic and social reforms. The next two years are going to be most trying years indeed. And expect a snap general election within 18 months of Najib taking over if he does take over on 1 April 2009.
NO HOLDS BARRED
Raja Petra Kamarudin
Tomorrow, I will probably be detained under the Internal Security Act. Anyhow, before we talk about that, let me start by giving you my prediction for the two by-elections scheduled for early April.
In 2004, BN won the Bukit Selambau state seat with a majority of 7,695 votes and in 2008 they lost it with a majority of 2,362 votes. (See the chart below). In the coming by-election, I forecast a voter turnout of around 26,000 and a majority of 3,500-4,500 for the opposition.
For the Bukit Gantang parliament seat, in 2004 Barisan Nasional won with a majority of 8,888 and in 2008 it lost with a majority of 1,566. (See chart below). This time around, the voter turnout will be roughly 42,000 and the opposition will win that seat with a majority of 5,000-8,000 votes.
Okay, I am forecasting this even before I know who the candidates are. Well, I have no choice. On Tuesday, 17 February 2009, the Federal Court is due to hear the appeal against my release from Internal Security Act detention and I really do not know what the outcome is going to be. Chances are, I have but 24 hours left as a free man and if I do not write this article today I never will.
On 7 November 2008, the Shah Alam High Court ordered my release from detention. The government has appealed this decision although it did not see the need to appeal the decision of the Shah Alam High Court acquitting Abdul Razak Baginda of the charge of murder without his defence being called.
I was in court last week to witness the performance of the three judges and what I saw did not give me much confidence. First of all, we asked for a quorum of seven judges, or at least five. But the court turned us down and fixed a quorum of only three judges. And two of the three judges appear to be hostile towards us from the word ‘go’. It looks like my fate has been sealed even before the case goes to court.
Anyway, I know for a fact that it was not Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi who ordered my detention. He was not even aware I had been detained. The order came from Deputy Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak and since I am bent on making sure he never becomes Prime Minister on 1 April 2009 I really do not blame him for wanting to get me out of the way.
My friends and family want me to leave the country and to seek political asylum in another country. They feel I can still continue with the struggle in a foreign land. But I am against that as much as my wife pleads that I consider this. I am no quitter and I do not run. I shall stay and fight till the very end even if that is the last thing I do.
If I have to lose my freedom so be it. That is the price we pay for opposing the powers-that-be. But I shall not go quietly or make any deals to secure my release with those who walk in the corridors of power.
I was given an option. Take the money and become rich or go to jail. I refused the money and instead chose jail. This is my choice and no one can convince me to do otherwise. No doubt I will have to pay for this and it will be a heavy price that I shall have to pay. But this is the price of the struggle and the price does not come cheap.
I shall not submit. I shall resist till the end. I stand on right and I oppose what is wrong. Amar makruf, nahi munkar, as Islam would say. We must uphold right and oppose wrong. That is not only the Islamic way but also the way of all religions. And even atheists believe in this, so you need not believe in God to subscribe to the concept of amar makruf, nahi munkar.
Over thousands of years countless people have met their deaths just because they stood on the side of right. What I have chosen to do has been done by so many who are now nameless and faceless. So it is nothing so special that I do which has not been done before.
My resistance will continue. But I will have to continue my resistance behind the barbwire fences of the Kamunting Detention Centre. It will now be up to you, those who are free, to continue where I left off.
My resistance, however, will have to take on a new form. I will no longer be able to write or speak at ceramahs. My voice has now been silenced. But I can still speak the words of silence, which will be my new form of resistance.
I shall no longer open my mouth or utter one word during my detention. I shall maintain the silence of a mute person. I shall not sign any documents of the so many documents that they make you sign when under detention. My signature is not going to be placed on a single shred of paper.
By doing so would mean none of my family members or lawyers would have access to me. Yes, that is the price I shall pay for ‘not cooperating’. I know this and I am prepared for it.
I shall refuse all medical treatment and visits to the hospital. I shall refuse to accept any food and water supplied by the Kamunting authorities. I shall refuse to leave my cell or to meet any of the prison authorities. In short, I shall shut myself out from the world and keep to my own world of my eight feet square cell.
This action will mean I shall survive at the most seven to eight days. By the end of that period I shall be dead. I am prepared for that. They plan to imprison my body for the rest of my life. But I shall release my spirit from my body and will again be free. They can keep my body and they can do whatever they want with it. But they will never be able to keep my spirit. I shall separate my spirit from my body and deny them the pleasure of incarcerating me.
This is a decision I have taken and no one can make me change my mind. And this is probably the last article of mine that you shall read if they send me to Kamunting tomorrow. Keep the struggle going. I shall no longer be able to join you in that struggle. The work is far from finished. This country needs major political, economic and social reforms. The next two years are going to be most trying years indeed. And expect a snap general election within 18 months of Najib taking over if he does take over on 1 April 2009.
I lay down my life for this nation of ours called Malaysia. I will sacrifice myself for the sake of the struggle. There is very little left I can give at this point of time other than my life. For those who stood by me all these years, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I go with a heavy heart. But my heart is heavy only because I have but one life to give.
Death is not the end. Death is but the beginning. It is the beginning of a new journey that none of us can escape and will one day embark upon. It is not something to be sad about. It is something to rejoice.
Please continue your struggle to make Malaysia a better place for our future generation. This country belongs to them and it is for them that we struggle. For some of us, our time is already almost up. We do not have many years left. Many have gone before us. Many friends who started out with us in 1998 are no longer around. But they left this world in the hope that one day Malaysia will be the country that we dream it would be. And that, too, must be our dream.
I pray and hope that the Putrajaya Federal Court will uphold the decision of the Shah Alam High Court to free me from ISA detention. But if it reverses that decision then we must be prepared for that as well. And if the Federal Court does what I fear it will do, goodbye Malaysians, my comrade-in-arms. We shall meet again, one day, although not in this world but the next.

Let's stop sitting on the fence, ... reading Pete's articles,...agreeing with what he says, and then going about our normal business. Do we want this kind of state for our future generations? Let's show our solidarity, and change the face of this government. Let's show them that is is us who they should serve. Let's make ourselves count!!!

If it does come to this scenario, ie, RPK being dead in custody...it would be a huge catalyst for Najis to be toppled.... and the country descending into chaos. No doubt about that.
Detaining RPK under ISA again is making Pete a martyr and it is not something najis wants. Fight the good fight Pete, the rakyat will no longer tolerate tyranny in the government. Everyone will stand up and fight.

Dear Pete,
What your wife says makes sense, you don't have to be a Che Guevera,
You owe it to her and your children, sacrifice is not the only method to fight,
from the modus operandi of the BN government nobody will call you a coward for fighting from exile, it is not cowardice.
The Dalai Lama fought from exile, closer to home Waythamoorthy is still in exile.
many others also fought from exile.
Death is a certainty to us all, thats a given, but I think you are more valuable opening minds with your writings, the BN government seems to think so too hence their anxiety to get you by hook or crook.
Your death in prison will only provoke riots that the BN govt will gladly use as an excuse to impose an emergency, please reconsider your stance dear comrade.
What ever you decide , I wish you all the best Sir.
p.s. , the upcoming By-election in the two "bukits" are a no brainer, it will be the summit of BN's humiliation.

My suggestion to you RPK is to do a runner and maintain your fight from a safe haven
In gaol you lose you impact... even the strength of your smuggled out writings were weakened by "the censors" And we saw last time you were out of circulation how MT degenerated to mushiness with a series of articles under the heading of Straight from My Heart
That might be all well and good, but Malaysia needs something "Straight from Your Balls" to keep them active and motivated
By submitting to the ISA you may well satisfy your ego and you will certainly become a martyr. But what Malaysia needs is not more men with inflated egos nor more martyrs. What it needs is men with balls to catalyse the anti government movement
... and when it comes to 'men with balls", you are the best

UMNO/BN may have already packed the Court. Nothing we say shall change their mind. On the other hand, nothing I say or do shall change your mind.
The die is therefore cast.
So go and be at peace with God. Remember that you go with our kind thanks and our love. Even though I know you not and you know little of my family, you have fought the good fight for us and for OUR CHILDREN. There is nothing nobler and nothing more pure than to lay down your life for your brother Malaysians. For that I humbly thank you and ask you to remember that upon your last, you go with the gratitude and love of the People of Malaysia you loved and fought so hard.
You will not walk alone. I shall walk with you for you have walked with me.
The People of Malaysia shall rise and walk with you. Together Malaysians shall make Malaysia again.

Dear RPK,
What is life without hope. Believe in God and the strength of prayers. This special prayer is for you:
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. [a]
2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you make the Most High your dwelling— even the LORD, who is my refuge-
10 then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."
NOTHING WILL BEFALL YOU BUT GOOD.
AMEN

If Nelson Mandela had thought like you, Pete, S. Africa would still be under apartheid. Incarceration in gaol only shackes your physical body, but your spirit and ideals will still burn fiercely as long as your ideals are righteous.
Death finishes a man's career. Only an egoistic megalomaniac (Mahatir would be a fine example) would dare think his struggle would continue upon his death. Surely you are not such a prideful man? A humble man would use every available day of his life to work towards his goals. So what if they jail you, better men have been jailed and come out to have the last laugh.
Kind of funny, after all the lectures you gave us on Islam, that you would choose the suicide route, I supppose your body and your life belongs to you and not to God eh?
When you started your fight against the scum who run this country, surely you knew it would come to this, yes? So why take the coward's option now?

Your stature is too big and your shadow too large for anyone to surpass if you are gone. The fight is not over yet and if you are gone, there is not likely anyone big enough to fill your shoes in the immediate future to continue the fight. You are the conscience of the nation and we need someone like you to help bring this country to greater heights.
People like Najib are but like a passing bad smell. Stink for a while and they will soon be gone and their only legacy will be that faint memory in everyone's mind of the stink they are. . Shocked and disgusted at the desecration of the basic Institutions of the Country. Imagine the believers saying
to Udaya , no bed so no admission. We have gone to the dogs for sure .
My prayers is always for you and your family, God Bless you always , they can never kill your spirit my friend .
" Give me liberty or give me death "? but then God Always Speaks in Mysterious ways . When millions of us pray for you , the vibration is more powerful than their chains and guns .
I can feel your spirit from here !Take heart!

Dear Pete,
"When all other means have failed, It is then righteous to take the sword in the hand."...... These were the words uttered by my beloved Guru Gobind Singh, the 10th master of the sikhs who gave his life protecting the weak against the evil Moghuls Kings. Pete your struggles reminds me of my beloved Guru's sincerity of purpose and spirit of self sacrifice. You are willing to lay down your live fighting these BN UMNO tyrants for what you believe. All your strength is the gift of God and if God is on your side, you can never be weak. God gives strength to the pure soul. So long as there is piety in the soul, there is strength in the body to bear all hardships. You are a born leader my brother RPK. You have been bethrayed by your "own" people but RPK, there are strangers out there who are willing to sacrifice their own life for the same just cause. You are not alone. You have lit the flame and no tyrant can put out this fire. Good will eventually overcome evil. Be strong my brother as I and my fellow Malaysian brother have you and your family in our prayers everyday.

Sir RPK .. till we meet again.
I can understand your frustation. The weekly vigil to abolish ISA is still long way to be heard. The number of people attended just simply pathetic. We need a big wave to be heard.
I cant see the light yet at the moment, takes years till this country able to reforms. Needs thousand of RPK to build people's power. People have not united here, still busy withe the race issues. Philippinos were united during the Marcos' era. So was Indonesian till they were able to topple Suharto. Same thing happned in Thailand lately. But here would only happen when there is nomore race issue.

The message is clear though hidden.
The piece about the election is only a diversion.
Pete is sending a message. His Heart is heavy.
He is saying ARISE my people or I shall die not in peace. Can you not see that if he does what he intends to do, his passing will not be calm. It will be at much pain to himself slowly eating away his lifeless body. His soul will be calling " Oh, Malaysians why are you letting me down? The Pain I can bear but Malaysians not coming together will be the thorns in my heart and my failure to all".
Do we wish to have Pete' passing be forever niggling at our consience?
Let us not write, chat or be cowards at this crucial time.
Can we organise a million marchers nationwide?
PR I urge you to start the ball rolling and we will follow. Pete is worth
the risk of Martial Law. Lose this battle but win the war come next election.Pas, Pkr and Dap remember Pete's contribution to your WINS.
It is not D Day for Pete, it is D Day for us if we wish to see a fair and just Malasia for our kids' FUTURE.
Please if they incarcerate Pete, let us all down tools and begin our march of
a million people. Just tell it to all your friends and mates.
Be there at the courts for starters and take it from there.
Our battle cry, " I WILL BE THERE WITH YOU ".

This article sure brought tears to my eyes. It was so painful to continue reading it. While I respect your decision, I hope you will reconsider as you also has to respect your family's wishes too. Is it fair to them if you die this way, and for what? For all that you are trying to do, are most Malaysians really bothered? Look at the countless petitions, vigils etc. Most are too selfish or coward to participate. Would your death jolt them to their senses and make them continue the fight? I think not, brother. They will make comments safely behind their computers and some will come out and fight, but most are just too chicken or selfish to do anything to help change the country
So I plead with you, the time is not right yet for you to go. Please don't leave when the fight has only started. We cannot leave it to the politicians and others. We still need you both in spirit and body. Please have a change of heart.
From your humble comrade in arms.

RPK,
It was sad reading this article.
I am not sure if you believe in Jesus as your savior, but I want to let you know that Jesus and his apostles and disciples also faced the persecution from their enemies. However we saw that they did not submit their lives into the hands of the enemies. They fled every time they could.
RPK, it's worthless dying in Kamunting because of the action of BN on you. The citizens still need you to fight together with them. Think about them! Do not be a selfish guy! Your denial of the food and water equals you to a suicider. And God doesn't like that!! You must treasure your life!
Do not think that your moment has come! Jesus knew that his moment had come since that's what he came to the earth for - which was to die for the sinners. But how do you know your moment has come? You should submit your life to the Lord and let Him decide! Your way of choosing the moment is by no means pleasing God!! And your family, your friends, your supporters, the ppl that love you from all around the world would be deeply saddened by your choice!!!
Do not be a selfish guy! There are many more things that you can fight for! The intention of BN is to shut your mouth!! That's why they have this ISA law. But do not fall into their trap! Remember, MALAYSIA NEEDS YOU!!! And you need Jesus! Find peace in Him! Again, it is not worthy to die in Kamunting!!! And it is not God's will for you to end your life like that!!

"Cash Money" ... what you said is silly.
To justify that there is nowhere to go after death does not signify that someone Must force themself to believe that there is somewhere to go after death.
Certain atheists may believe that they have nowhere to go after death other than the "grass and the grave" but that does not mean they are not willing to sacrifice for causes.
To justify that one would only be dignified to sacrify for causes because of the believe that there is somewhere to go after death makes the sacrifice seems a tad little less sincere or credible.
Whether there is or isn't spirit does not define that atheists would or won't perform what Raja Petra did.
However in respect of Raja Petra, I respect your decision and will give my support. Rest assured all your deeds shall be remembered.
You did what most of us fail to do. To uphold one's credibility in causes.

After much thought, though it may be silly but if it is possible, I have decided that you may need to pass the burden to someone else - i.e. use someone as a scapegoat and I do not mind being one. From my younger days, I was told that no one is indispensible. That we may be here today but we may not be the next. Things happen and life will go on.
You know what? Screw that! Please don't choose death! It is harder to live than to submit to evil by dying. That is what they want! In such dark and adverse moment, who among us would not hope for something better to come instantly?
But you said it right. It will be a long struggle. And each and everyone of us count for something. Some candles are meant to burn brighter so as they will point out where the direction others should go.
So please don't choose the path of self destruction. Your possible incarceration is already a horrible thing. For you to agree to end it as well will be an abominable event to us all.
Will keep you in prayers. Please be steadfast and do not lose hope...

And I have none so any doubts that you could play a major role in our continuous struggle to a prosperous Malaysia.
RPK, I pray that you will received the wisdom and strength to continue your struggle.

Raja Petra bin Raja Kamarudin
What sort of a Man is he?
Many knew him as Editor and Publisher of MT
But to me he will always be Royalty
He who walks the talk is now in court
Soon them UMNO Goons will be quick to sort
This towering Malaysian so feared by The Ruling Political Party
He will be sentenced once again for ruining Malaysian Democracy.
His writings has been humorous, too bitchy and yet so witty
He denounces money politics so riled in Malaysian Society
Tomorrow this Man affectionately known as RPK
He will once again come under Botakhead’s ISA
I read with much sadness but also with much pride
I took the opportunity to stand by his side
My Royal Highness Sir RPK my heart too is heavy
My advice to you is this, do not leave us now or your family
The struggle has just begun, the cracks have now appeared
Finish what you started “Remember, Mr Most Feared Yet Revered”
If Malaysians truly believes in action but not hypocrisy
Now is the time to go forth in search of your glory
RPK’s legacy is set in history, and so is SJST’S
It is now your turn because MALAYSIA too is your COUNTRY.
RPK, Please help me Make Malaysia My First Home.

YM RPK is not just a great writer, he is also a great story teller. A man possessed with a great crystal ball in his mind that has the foresight, where myth busters would deem PLAUSIBLE.
Make no mistake. He is betting his life on a pardon not by the king, but by who else then?
A former finance & home minister, that's the one! & That will make way for an about turn on 1 Apr 2008. A gutsy gamble.. (& that's an understatement)

I have been praying for a better Malaysia ( without the bastards in UMNO/BN) since a long long time ago, and will continue to pray. Tell us what to do, it seems that nobody is taking the lead, all just 'Lip Service' (with due respect to those that has tried to do and is still trying).
I live for my family only, I would gladly trade my life if it means that they will be assured of a genuine future, not what is promised by UMNO/BN bastards. Just say the word. Regards

Dear Pete,
In the past, most of your predictions came true in the end...I hope this time, and this time only, you will be way off your mark.....The following is not a tribute, but rather a celebration of what you have done for us...
You have opened our eyes, through masterful strokes of your pen,
the revelations that strikes fear into our oppressors,
A valiant knight you are, though born of noble blood,
you dared to share our dreams, our sufferings and tears....
When darkness envelops as a raging storm threatens, and the end seems nigh,
your beackon of hope never ceases to shine....a reassuring light, guiding us to safety..
You have taught us that a difficult crisis can be more readily endured
if we retain the conviction that our existence hold a purpose,
a cause to pursue, a goal to achieve,
We shall continue where you left off my brave ONE , as we brace for more swells that might come our way. Together, we must right what is wrong, and cast the evils that plague our beloved land...
We await your second coming, my dear friend....In the meantime, God bless..

This is very sensible as there is every possibility that the prison food and drink may be doctored, spiked, drugged, or otherwise mishandled, or just plain unpalatable (dog food - to quote a former detainee).
This offers a hope. If worse come to worst, and RPK is detained and refuses prison food, we should all bring outside food and drink and bring it to Kamunting.

In Malaysia, the federal government are hypocrites of the worst sort.
1.They criticize racism in the US but they practice Ketuanan Melayu (Malay Supremacy)
2.They criticize countries that do not practice Human Rights but they practice ISA
3.They criticize party hopping but went on to implement it
4.They criticize illegal gathering but allow when its their party members who do it
5.They criticize inhuman treatment of Guantanamo prisoners but they treat their ISA detainee like dogs. Some criminal suspects even die in their lockup.
6.They criticize and compare the crime rate with other countries but they are actually comparing with 3rd world.
7.They criticize Singapore for being too strict but look at our Mat Rempits unruly behaviour. (Those ppl who have experience it will tell you the police are powerless and not able to arrest them.

My dearest friend,
No Malaysian, outside the Parliment and outside the corrupt BN govt has achieved as much as you have, locally and globally. You fight for right, and right the wrong. You kicked the ass of BN goons as well as the Opposition members without any favour done to anyone. You face the might of the ISA boss and refused to bend your knees before insolent might. You tread the spiritual path with tolerance reflecting the middle way of the best of God's creation - Holy Prophet Mohammad SAW and stand proud to proclaim God's message to all in the face of ridicule from your own religious groups aligned to the BN government and UMNO.
I have always given thanks to Allah SWT for sending a man of your conviction to Malaysia. Can I compare you with Anwar, karpal or Lim Kit Siang? No, No. You are far above these people who have political motives behind everything they say and do. Politicians have no ethic nor pride (with exception of Tan Sri Dr Tan Chee Khoon and Tok Guru of PAS. You stand alone, aloof from these politicians.
The future is in God's Hands. The MOVING Fingers write and having writ, moves on.
I would and can say only this: Be proud of yourself for what you have done where no other single Malaysian has dare to do. But do not deprive yourself of food or drinks if they send you back to Kamunting. To do so would be a sin in Islam for is it not the action of a man, subconsciously, want to kill himself. This is suicide, simple and straightforward. Please for the sake of your soul, abstain from any thought of taking action that would expose your life to danger. Hallaj was matyred with the cruelest torture till death, but yet he did not attempt to kill himself. His total surrender to Allah is itself a proof of not only his LOVE for his LOVER, but also goes to prove that He is One with Allah.
So be it. The darkest moments shall be filled with HIS LOVE and the NUR of Mohmammad shall dispel all darkness, and rekindle the LOVE in some of the UMNO leaders and the members of the Royalty.
In HIM (HU) do we believe, and to HIM via his beloved Prophet shall we ask for favour. It shall be granted if we conform to the Shariat.
LOVE and PEACE

Dear Pete,
You may not know me, but I know you through your writing, and I am glad you did what you did to seek Justice, Equality and Harmonious living for all Malaysians. I thank you and respect you for what you have done, and you, in my eyes, are no less than Gandhi, George Washington, Senator Adams and other great men. All of you have one thing in common. You have one definite purpose, a definite plan, PERSISTENCE, and you are above self. I just finished reading an article and it happened to highlight how United States came into being in July 4th, 1776, against all odds, from the British Colonial powers, which at that time was the biggest power. (I think this is more than mere co-incidence). It was not George Washington who started it, though he was credited for it. It was Samuel Adams and Richard Henry Lee, who started the USA independence movement against all odds. Adams stood up to British Governor Gage. Adam was offered monetary rewards, incentives and positions to go along with the British Colonial Authority, and to stop his crusade for freedom and independence from the so called occupying forces, or he would face treason charge in London. You, our beloved RPK, my friend, has many parallels with many of the great men before you. They didn’t die in vain. They live to see the results of the God given vision, strength in PERSISTENCE, and BLESSINGS! Even in the old testament, many of JESUS’s followers have been incarcerated for their believe, yet the Angels rescue them all! They FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH! They didn’t succumb to the evil forces of the day, even though some were thrown into the dungeon (high security but pitiful cells filled with smelly dirts and disease causing agents), some into the Lion den, yet some into the burning furnace of 1000 degree heat. Yet they all came out from those places unscathed, as the POWER of the Infinite Intelligence (God Almighty) was with them! RPK, I am sorry if you will just change your thoughts a bit. Just only a bit, to be in line with the heroes in history. Do not intentionally punish yourself by depriving your body from food and water, and love from your loved ones and friends, unless you fast for a purpose. Your body is given by God and do not deny it by making the evil one happy. I have been praying for you and will continue to pray for you. I know the Lord Almighty will take care of you. Pls stay strong, healthy, and be in joy, wherever you will be. The joy of the Lord is your strength! Do not despair. The power of prayer will break down prison walls too, like Apostle Peter had experienced. You will be alright. Even poison will not hurt you! Stay in faith. Prayerfully, the court will find you righteous! Prayerfully, JUSTICE, INTEGRITY AND HARMONIOUS living shall prevail for All Malaysians in good time, through the momentum you have caused to celebrate and victory is on the way!.

RPK, you are a Midnight Tiger! Don’t you forget that.
Tiger Tiger. burning bright, In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye could frame thy fearful symmetry?
In what distant deeps or skies burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire? What the hand, dare seize the fire?
And what shoulder and what art could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat. What dread hand and what dread feet?
What the hammer? what the chain, In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp. Dare its deadly terrors clasp?
When the stars threw down their spears And watered heaven with their tears:
Did He (God) smile His work to see? Did He who made the lamb make thee?
Tiger Tiger burning bright, In the forests of the night:
What immortal hand or eye dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
- - The Tiger, by poet William Blake
In the poem, William Blake contrasts the dark "forest of the night" (an unknown and hostile place) and the intense "burning" brightness of the tiger's colouring. The questions that follow are directed at the tiger, though they are as much questions for the reader. Blake asks where the fire in the tiger's eyes originates. He is amazed at the complexity of the tiger's inner workings (the sinews of thy heart), at the greater power that set the heart beating, and wonders how the animal's brain was forged: "What the hammer...in what furnace...what the anvil?" Blake imagines the tiger as the embodiment of God's power in creation: the animal is terrifying in its beauty, strength, complexity and vitality.
[adapted from study notes by Andrew Moore, 2004, on “Poems by William Blake”]
RPK, you are a Midnight Tiger, not a Pink Panther or a pussy cat. So, you must not give up without a fight. Eat well, sleep well, take care of your health, and keep your mind alert. Remember that even cats have nine lifes.
We wish you a long life, so you will inspire Malaysians with your writings for many years to come. The decision you make must be honoured and reading books on after life I assume the following:

Since a mosquitoes life cycle is short you evolve into the realm of a hungry ghost and torture the real scums the six that did not die of dengue coz the modern medicine saves them. The torment you give them will cause 3 of them to go insane.. mainly the female folks u despise.
Lastly the 3 this includes the lawyer will be always looking out for your spirit and will end up dead in an accident. On yourself you will be born again into a commoner and end up as the Prime Minister of Malaysia for all Malaysian!!!
Good luck and keep well RPK

This article once again sends chill down my spine which helps to recall the eerie feelings when the news of RPK under arrest swamped the cybersphere - on that black Friday - 12th September, 2008! That's the time when all the hypocrites were sticking high their arses kneeling to their God during the holy month! RPK suffered the dog's life by being dragged into the lockup and tortured while the most unislamic hypocrites were having jubilee outside, having open house some more whacking buffets at the expense of the rakyat!
When RPK was incarcerated, I attended the candlelight vigil in Penang until Pete was released and I had a moment of glory felt and thought that in this beloved land, there is still little hope of justice! After seeing the Perak "coup de disgrace" coupled with this article of RPK which more an equivalent to a message of condolence, my heart again has plunged deep into the pit and sunny day doesn't look sunny but felt as scary as bad omen is looming! Why RPK and not the real perpetrator, the murderer, the sex maniac, the corrupter who should face the God judgment, instead he is the one who performs the ritual of sacrifice and RPK is the sacrificing poor goat slaughtered to place on the altar?! Is this fair of God's willing?
I have a lot more to tell but my emotion overrules! I am entirely confused and in such complexity that the only thing I can think of is to leave this filthy hell to the devils and probably, I will have to re-initiate my old plan to join my children overseas or work as an expat again! Without the presence of RPK, I am totally demoralized and I have to beg for pardon from Pete, I am hell lot of tired now, I beg to keep away from this cesspool and all the demons and scumbags when the only lotus - RPK, has falsely been removed and shunned for good, in his absence to lead any of my reckless struggle will be futile!
Excuse me......Pete, take good care and Madam Marina, sorry for your impending sorrow should God is merciless to misplace His judgment! smilies/cry.gif

RPK,
Malaysia needs you...never give up on the belief you stand for. They can break your bones but not your spirit!
If you let go now...it's like...
*an unfinished song waiting to be sung!
*a masterpiece waiting for the finishing touch!
*an unwritten poetry waiting to be born!
*a jigsaw with a missing piece!
*a people with a hope just hanging half way!
*a better tomorrow that was to be but...who will know now?
The people of Malaysia needs you now...more than angels!
Angels can wait...but can we?
Take care..

Dear Fellow readers, Please try to convince RPK to leave this country and help us from somewhere safe. It is not fair for him to suffer alone. We can say we pray for him, we feel for him, we this and that for him but in the end, who will suffer? He and his family will suffer the most while we out here carry on life as usual. Yes, we will cry and feel the pain like what is happening to me now but is that enough? Are we as brave as him to sacrifice everything to bring justice to this country? Let him not suffer alone. Help him to help himself if we love him.

Abang,
Just sit down & consider the followings:-
The Royalties are against US!
The Judges are againt US!
The Election Commission is against US!
The Police are against US!
The Civil Servants are generally against US!
Against the odd, we prevail on 0803 in no lack of efforts on your part. Do you want to give up now or you want to live another day to fight them? If YES listen to your close ones & fight with us but under the santuary of outside Malaysia.
Don't worry we still love you from a distance.

RPK, until you find a successor who can rally us like you, don't you dare to leave us!
Dying is the easiest way out for one's life. Living on through the pain takes a lot more guts to do.
You are a man with the balls of steel, take the tough road!!!!

RPK,
Please do not even think of giving the bastards any reasons to make your life hell. We understand the principles you are fighting for but you must SURVIVE even if it means cooperating with the bastards.
We do not need dead martyrs but live capable Malaysians to continue fighting the cause for a better Malaysia.
Please be strong and remember SURVIVE at all costs! I will pray for your well being.

Dear Pete ..
i am appalled !!..is this being selfless or selfish??
Charity begins at home and your family are your most important treasure ..you have to be fair to them and save them the pain of your intended actions.
Knowing very well your medical condition , you have decided to kill yourself ??
"Amar makruf, nahi munkar, as Islam would say. We must uphold right and oppose wrong" you wrote ..
I now oppose your unIslamic stance to commit suicide !!!
Allah gave us brains to do what is right and oppose wrongs..
If you decide not to take you food or medications and end up dead ..THATS UNISLAMIC!!!
Dont be like some Taliban matyr or suuce bomer and hurt the innocent one and in this case your family and all those frens who supports and love you !!..

YM RPK, you will survive. Believe me. You are not a quiter. Seeking asylum overseas is no go. Malaysia needs you more than the current batch of lawmakers.
Hope you will become a lawmaker in the next election. This on my wish list.
There is an optimism about you that is endearing. In doing so you give others (Malaysians) the opportunity to say 'There will be change'.
I have never read any report from you as this one. Be positive.
Everything will be fine.

Still far too many Malaysians are still under the wrapped of the cocoon, otherwise the fight would be little easier. My saying is they don't see what democracy and life the rule of laws. For the great many of them UMNO leaders are doing only the right thing, others aren't.

Dear Pete,
Stay alive and fight another day.
You see, you are only hastening the plan of your enemies if you decide to surrender by starving yourself to death.
I know you mean to protest at the injustice inflicted upon you but don't let them gloat and win the battle on your expanses.
Your enemies want you dead so they are free to do what they want.
Do not give them that pleasure.
Fight, my friend and know that we are with you wherever they lock you.
You are a fighter not a quitter. Stay around and give them hell, buddy!!!
